Below, you’ll find our salon policies, designed to help keep every pup safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their visit. Not every policy will apply to every pup; some are simply here for those special circumstances when a pup arrives with a particular coat, skin, health, or behavioral need.
These policies help us communicate clearly, make thoughtful decisions, and always put your pup’s comfort and well-being first.
What to Expect
Wait-Times
For our pups receiving haircuts, we ask for approximately 2–3 hours to complete each service. This timeframe may fluctuate depending on any matting found, the pet’s general condition, and multi-pet families.
If you would like your pup done as quickly as possible (i.e., without any waiting between the groom and bath), we offer an express service.
Flea Policy
If live fleas are found on your pet, we will perform a flea bath to kill and remove any fleas found on the pet. Live fleas pose a risk to all other pets in the salon; therefore, a flea bath is non-optional under these circumstances.
Puppy Appointments
For a puppy’s first haircut, we recommend a “Puppy Trim.” This introductory service is designed to acclimate your pet to their first grooming experiences. It includes a nail trim, bath, dry, and trimming of the face, feet, and sanitary areas.
Whether a pup is ready for a full haircut is at the discretion of the staff working with the pet. Some puppies need multiple Puppy Trims before they are confident enough for a full haircut.
