    Location 5045 Fruitville Rd #131, Sarasota, FL 34232 (Fruitville & Richardson) Hours Monday-Friday : 8am - 6pm Saturday : 8am - 5pm Closed on Sundays *We take walk-ins for nail trim and offer a well stocked holistic retail store in our lobby that is open to all. Heading West on Fruitville/Honore intersection, make a right onto Richardson.
  • What is holistic grooming?
    Holistic grooming is the practice of grooming your pet in a stress-free environment in order to provide optimal health for both their body and mind. We use a variety of different calming practices and techniques to make sure that your pup is as well cared for and comfortable as possible!
  • What vaccinations does my pet need?
    We require all pets to be current on their rabies vaccination ahead of your scheduled appointment.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time, otherwise we do ask for a $25 cancellation/no-show fee to be paid before booking any future appointment. New clients, if charged a cancellation/no-show fee, we are unable to provide you a refund for your deposit. If you would like to schedule a new appointment, we will ask for a new reservation deposit.
  • I experienced outstanding service, where can I leave a review?

  • What if I am not happy with the service my dog receives?
    If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the service you have received, please give us a call or email thesudsypup.abby@gmail.com within 24 hours so we can do our best to rectify it. Your satisfaction is very important to us and we appreciate you giving us a chance to review and rectify any issues.
  • When should my puppy come in for their first groom?
    It’s important to have your puppy groomed as soon as possible so they can get used to and learn to love the grooming experience. We recommend they come in two weeks after their last set of vaccinations. We will not perform a haircut for your puppy during their first visit as the evolution from a puppy to an adult coat is dependent on breed. A grooming regime will be suggested to suit your puppy's coat type and needs. During their first visit your puppy will be introduced to the sights, sounds and smells of the grooming salon in a relaxed and fun way to ensure that future visits are stress free.
  • How early should I arrive to my scheduled appointment?
    Please arrive to every appointment at least 10-15 minutes early to allow us ample time for check-in.
  • What do I need to bring to my appointment?
    If this is your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a new client form and acknowledge our policies (this must be completed ahead of your appointment). Please ensure your pet is able to relieve themselves before your appointment. We have doggy relief station conveniently located outside of the spa. Please make sure we have your pets updated rabies vaccination on record ahead of every appointment. You may bring a leash & collar (or harness), if you forget, we have leashes that can be utilized during your appointment time.
  • How often does my dog need a nail trimming and do I need an appointment?
    We recommend your dog get their nails done at least once a month to prevent injury and damage. You do not need an appointment for nail trim, but we do recommend giving us a call ahead to reduce possible wait time. Nail trimming and filing are included with every grooming service that we offer.
  • What is the cost for grooming services?
    Pricing is based on your pets breed, hair length, condition of skin, grooming history, and any special accommodations that may be needed resulting in longer than average grooming time. You will receive an estimate before your appointment start. Grooming prices are subject to change at the groomers discretion. We will not proceed without consulting with you first.
  • Do you collect a deposit for grooming services?
    We collect a $25 non-refundable grooming deposit to secure your appointment upon booking. Your deposit will be applied towards the final cost of your groom on the day of your appointment. ​ You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours before otherwise we do ask for a $25 cancellation/no-show fee to be paid for before booking a future appointment. New clients, if charged a cancellation/no-show fee, we are unable to provide you a refund for your deposit and if you'd like to schedule a new appointment, we will ask for a new reservation deposit.
  • What time do I need to pickup my pet from their appointment?
    Due to limited kenneling spaces, we kindly ask that all pets are picked up in a timely manner after receiving notice that your pup is ready. At drop off, an estimated time for your pets services will be given, we ask that plans around your pets appointment are made accordingly as we are not a boarding/daycare facility. We will always send a message to serve as a head up to your pups completion time. Late pick-up fee's may be applied.
